Designed & developed an astrological website for Divyatatva
Divyatatva is an astrology focused platform that provides spiritual guidance, astrology consultations, and astrological products such as gemstones, rudraksha, and other Vedic remedies.
The goal of the project was to design a website that clearly communicates astrology services while also allowing users to explore and purchase spiritual products online.
The platform needed to balance two major purposes: offering astrological guidance and functioning as an ecommerce store for spiritual items.

Creating a clear structure for services, products, & consultations
The Challenge:
Astrology websites often contain large amounts of information, including services, predictions, remedies, and products. Presenting all this information without overwhelming users was one of the key challenges.
The main challenges included:
Structuring services and products clearly so users understand the difference between consultations and remedies.
Building trust and credibility for users seeking astrological guidance.
Creating a browsing experience that makes it easy for users to discover products and services.
Ensuring that the website remains simple for users who may not be very tech-savvy.
The design needed to maintain clarity while guiding users toward meaningful actions such as booking consultations or purchasing recommended products.
Understanding the Users:
The website serves two primary types of users.
People seeking astrological guidance:
Users who want answers about their life, career, relationships, or future. These users primarily look for consultations, horoscope insights, or kundli analysis.
Users looking for spiritual remedies:
Visitors who want to purchase astrology-related products such as gemstones, rudraksha, yantras, or other spiritual items are believed to bring positive changes.
Understanding these two user groups helped define the information architecture and content prioritization of the website.

How I planned the experience & information flow
The design process focused on creating a clear structure that allows users to easily understand the platform.
The first step was identifying the core sections required for the website, such as astrology services, product listings, educational content, and consultation booking.
Wireframes were created to determine how users would navigate between these sections and how information should be presented without overwhelming them.
Special attention was given to the homepage, which acts as the entry point where visitors quickly understand what the platform offers and how they can benefit from it.
The process involved simplifying navigation, grouping related information together, and ensuring users can easily move from learning about services to exploring products.
UI & design Decisions
Designing a spiritual yet clean & trustworthy interface
The visual design aimed to reflect spirituality, trust, and clarity.
Astrology platforms often rely heavily on symbolism and imagery, so the design carefully balances spiritual aesthetics with clean and readable layouts.
Key design decisions included:
Using a calm and spiritual visual tone that aligns with astrology themes.
Maintaining clear typography to ensure readability of detailed information.
Creating a strong visual hierarchy so users can quickly identify services, products, and actions.
Designing product cards that clearly highlight key information while keeping browsing simple.
Call-to-action elements were also placed strategically so users can easily book consultations or explore products without feeling pressured.

During the design process, several refinements were made based on usability considerations.
Content-heavy sections were simplified to improve readability and prevent information overload.
Navigation was adjusted to make it easier for users to move between services and product categories.
Product listings and service descriptions were also refined to ensure users can quickly understand what is being offered and how it may benefit them.
These iterations helped create a smoother browsing experience and improved the clarity of the platform.
